Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the effect of using the Tri Pramana-oriented problem-based learning model on the Motivation and Learning Outcomes of Hindu Religious Education and Characteristics for class XII students of SMK Pariwisata Triatma Jaya Singaraja. This study uses an experimental research method with the design used is the Posttest Only Control Group Design. The population of this study were all students of class XII with a sample of 56 students of class XII majoring in Hospitality 1 and XII Culinary 1 SMK Pariwisata Triatma Jaya Singaraja. Data on student motivation was collected using a questionnaire technique and the learning outcomes of Hindu Religious Education and Moral Education students used multiple choice tests. The results showed that: first, there were differences in motivation and learning outcomes between students who were taught through the Tri Pramana oriented problem based learning model and students who studied with the conventional model in class XII students of SMK Pariwisata Triatma Jaya Singaraja with a value of F = 12.428 and P <0 ,05. Second, there are differences in learning motivation between students who are taught through the Tri Pramana-oriented problem-based learning model and students who learn with the conventional model in class XII students of SMK Pariwisata Triatma Jaya Singaraja with a value of F = 8.814 and P <0.05. Third, there are differences in learning outcomes between students who are taught through the Tri Pramana-oriented problem-based learning model and students who learn with the conventional model in class XII students of SMK Pariwisata Triatma Jaya Singaraja with a value of F = 16.948 and P <0.05.
