NEW MEDIA SEBAGAI SARANA PENYULUHAN AGAMA HINDU OLEH DIGITAL NATIVE

Abstract
In today's digital era, there are various media choices that can be used, such as television, print media and even online media. The need for information makes people prefer media that are easily and quickly accessed to obtain information. In fact, almost all humans or people living in the present era have the tools or technology used to access information such as smartphones, or the like. Then the communicator will be very facilitated in this case to convey messages to many people. Likewise with Hindu religious extension workers who use social media as a means of counseling.
The generation of digital natives is also known as the native gadget that was born in the digital age (Brynko, 2009; Prensky, 2001), which means that they use more gadgets for their daily activities. The use of information technology does not only have an impact on social activities, but the influence of technology on the generation of digital natives can also be seen on their learning styles. Therefore social media has a very important role for Hindu religious extension workers in providing counseling. Given that currently it has entered the 4.0 industrial revolution so that the use of communication technology is inherent in the younger generation. Therefore, up-to-date packaging with simple language is needed so that it is easy to understand. Some social media can be used such as Instagram, youtube, facebook and others. The counseling on Hinduism by Digital Native can be applied through several methods on social media such as what Gede Prama did through a simple quote on his Instagram account, but it implies a very deep meaning, making it easier for the public to understand. Meanwhile, a creator named Puja Astawa can also imitate his method. Like making a short film on YouTube with messages of Dharma teachings. Thus, the technology literate millennial generation can watch these shows over and over again.
