Abstract

STAHN Mpu Kuturan Singaraja carries out Community Service in helping to increase the religious understanding of Hindus among the general Hindu community who come to pray at Pura Agung Jagatnatha, Buleleng Regency. Through Community Service (PkM), it is hoped that it can provide understanding to the community regarding the understanding of Hinduism. The method used in implementing PKM is in the form of a dharma discourse addressed to Hindus who come to pray at the Agung Jagatnatha temple. The results and discussion of the Implementation of Community Service at Pura Agung Jagatnatha went smoothly and this activity was carried out from June to October. The function and meaning of symbols in Hinduism is as a medium to bring people closer to those they worship and have meaning to strengthen their sense of devotion before God. Optimizing Hindu solidarity through religious symbols at the Agung Jagatnatha Temple, Buleleng Regency, can be seen from the temple being full of symbols that can unite the community. The symbols in Pura Agung Jagatnatha are able to unite Hindus across generations and across regions. They united, gathered, and prayed together.
