Eksistensi Arca Ganesha Di Pura Gaduh di desa Giri Emas Kecamatan Sawan, Kabupaten Buleleng (Perspektif Pendidikan Sosio Religius)

Abstract

The research objectives to be achieved in this study are 1) To explore information about the worship of the Ganesha Statue at Pura Gaduh in Giri Emas Village, Sawan District, Buleleng Regency 2) To find out the function of the ceremony towards the Ganesha Statue of Pura Gaduh at Giri Emas Village, Sawan District. , Buleleng Regency 3) To identify any Socio-Religious Education that can be informed about the Ganesha Pura Gaduh statue in Giri Emas Village, Sawan District, Buleleng Regency. The theory underlying this research is existentialism theory, religious theory, structural functionalism theory, and symbol theory. This type of research is field research that produces descriptive data in the form of words both written and spoken from someone or books which will be analyzed and find answers to the problems being observed. There are four methods used in collecting data in this study, including: 1) observation method; 2) interview method; 3) library techniques; and 4) documentation method. The results of this study are: 1) The worship of the Ganesha statue at Pura Gaduh is a series of rituals for the Ngusaba Bukakak ceremony in Giri Emas Village. 2) The function of Pura Gaduh in Giri Emas Village, Sawan District, Buleleng Regency has the function of Ida Sang Hyang Widhi Wasa Worshiping Facilities in All Its Prestige, Religious Sanctity Functions, Skills Functions in Religious Activities, Safety Functions, Local Tradition Preservation Functions, and Fertility Functions. 3) The Value of Socio-Religious Education that can be transformed to the existence of the Ganesha Statue at Pura Gaduh, namely, the Educational Value of Sradha Bhakti, the Value of Ethical Education, the Value of Mutual Cooperation Education, the Value of Religious Education, the Value of Tatwa Education
