Abstract

This research aims to: (1) To determine and analyze the influence of the principal's leadership style based on the Panca Upaya Sandhi on teacher performance at SD Negeri 3 Seririt. (2) To determine and analyze the influence of achievement motivation on teacher performance at SD Negeri 3 Seririt. (3) To determine and analyze the influence of the principal's leadership style based on the Panca Upaya Sandhi and stimulant achievement motivation on teacher performance at SD Negeri 3 Seririt. This phenomenon is based on an educational institution in which there are teachers whose performance needs to be improved. This can be seen from the lack of teacher discipline in starting the teaching and learning process and there are still teachers who arrive late. The school principal's management leadership is not optimal. School principals still use patterns of their own accord which are not based on analysis in making decisions. This research uses a quantitative approach with an ex post facto design and a correlation research design. The method used is the data collection method and the data collection instrument is a questionnaire or questionnaire. Research Results: The influence of the principal's leadership style based on the Panca Upaya Sandhi and achievement motivation has a significant influence simultaneously on teacher performance at SD Negeri 3 Seririt, Seririt District, Buleleng Regency. Based on the results of the F test, the Fcount value is 2.640 while the Ftable value is 0.224 at the significance level. 5% then 2.640 > 0.224 (Fcount > Ftable). The correlation coefficient value obtained was rcount > rtable (0.487 > 0.224) and the coefficient of determination (r2) (r Square) was 0.237. This shows that teacher performance at SD Negeri 3 Seririt, Seririt District, Buleleng Regency is 67.8% simultaneously influenced by the principal's leadership style variables based on the Panca Upaya Sandhi and achievement motivation. Meanwhile, 32.2% is influenced by other variables such as work design, abilities and skills, knowledge, personality and job satisfaction.
